Rental Cap Committee Dissolves

An e-mail from Committee Chair James Wesley to all homeowners stated:

our committee is recommending that the Board NOT proceed with a CC&R amendment restricting rentals on new purchases

His reason was that it seemed unreasonable to expect that a rental cap would be approved by 76 Laurel Bay homeowners. The fact that 107 of 150 homeowners in the recent board elections show that a large proportion of owners do not participate in elections. The results of that election showed substantial support to reelect a director NOT affiliated with the rental cap committee.

This is welcome news for Concerned Homeowners of Laurel Bay.
