Louise Wesley Resigns from the Rental Cap Committee

At the September 9, 2026, Laurel Bay HOA Board Meeting, Director Wesley issued a formal resignation from the Rental Cap Committee.

The Committee has been subject to the California Open Meetings Act since the election of three committee members to the board of directors in August. Those three directors – Louise Wesley, Nancy Chase, and Lorie Taylor constitute a majority of our Laurel Bay HOA Board.

The Open Meetings Act requires that any meeting of the majority of the Board be open to all homeowners, produce meeting minutes, and provide 4 days notice before meeting.
